WALTHAM, Mass. – After earning medalist honors at the St. Thomas Aquinas Invitational in Berlin, Md., Bentley University senior captain Cal Meyers (Richfield, Wisc./Slinger HS) has been named the Men's Golfer of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference. It's the second time this season that the Wisconsin native has been so honored.

During the two-day tournament at the Rum Pointe Golf Course, Meyers finished first by three strokes with a five-under 139. He shot a one-under 71 during the opening round and came back with a career-best four-under 68 on day two.

Meyers' strong showing in the Falcons' third tournament of the spring lowered his stroke average to 74.2, second best on the team. Golfstat has him ranked fifth in the East Region of Division II.

The next tournament for the Falcons is the 36-hole Bentley Invitational at Newport (R.I.) Country Club on Wednesday.
