WALTHAM, Mass. – After leading the Falcons during the JR Watkins Invitational in Lake City, Fla., Bentley University junior Chris Simione (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire HS) has been chosen as the Men's Golfer of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Simione tied for 27th in the 124-player tournament, putting up back-to-back three-over 75's for a 36-hole score of 150.

Following the season's first three tournaments, Simione has a stroke average of 73.5 and a +2.5 against par. Last fall, Simione was fourth on the team with a 78.1 average.

Bentley returns to action Monday when the two-day Northeast-10 Championships get underway at the Lake Sunapee Golf Club in New London, N.H.
