WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University freshman Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) was named the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Golf Rookie of the Week following his outstanding performance in the Southern New Hampshire Penmen Invitational Monday and Tuesday.

Competing in his first tournament as a collegian, Ethier tied for second, shooting a one-under 68-69-137 on the par-69 Hanover (N.H.) Country Club course.

Earlier this summer, Ethier finished first in the New Hampshire Junior Championship.

Bentley senior Cal Meyers (Richfield, Wisc./Slinger HS) was also recognized, with selection to the NE10 Weekly Roll, after tying for tenth with a three-over 70-71-141 during the Falcons' second tournament of the season.
