HAMILTON, N.Y. – Junior Cal Meyers (Richfield, Wisc./Slinger HS) was the top golfer for Bentley University Saturday during the opening day of the Robert Trent Jones Individual Shootout, hosted by Colgate University at the Seven Oaks Golf Club.

Meyers turned in a two-over 74 and stands third in a field of 16 at the midway point. He trails a pair from Army West Point, Gunnar Doyle (72) and Justin Pagila (73).

Bentley's other golfer in the event is sophomore Doug Kulikowski (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland HS), who is tied for 12th after an 84.

The tournament will conclude on Sunday.
