Chatfield & Meyers Earn Academic All-NE-10 Honors in Golf

Bentley University rising juniors Brett Chatfield (Attleboro/Bishop Feehan HS) and Cal Meyers (Richfield, Wisc./Slinger HS) were named to the 2016 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference men’s golf team after excelling both on the course and in the classroom.
Oliver Repeat Selection for Ping Division II All-East Region Team

Bentley University senior Malcolm Oliver (Damariscotta, Maine/Lincoln Academy), who completed his collegiate career earlier this month at the NCAA Super Regional, has been named to the Ping Division II All-East Region team for the second straight year by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Led by sophomore Cal Meyers (Richfield, Wisc./Slinger HS) and senior Malcolm Oliver (Damariscotta, Maine/Lincoln Academy), the Bentley University golf team finished its season by placing 13th among 20 teams in the NCAA Division II East/Atlantic Regional which concluded Wednesday at the Timber Banks Golf Club.

The field for the 2015 NCAA Division II regional golf tournaments has been announced with Bentley University included for the sixth consecutive year and the 11th time in the last 15 years. The Falcons were an at-large selection and the number five seed in the East Regional.
Oliver Receives 8th NE-10 Golfer of the Week Award

For the fifth time during his senior year and the eighth time in his career, Bentley University’s Malcolm Oliver (Damariscotta, Maine/Lincoln Academy) has been named the Golfer of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference. This time, he shared the honor with Le Moyne College’s John Clare.

Oliver Places 4th in Barton Invitational in Spring Debut

Bentley University senior Malcolm Oliver (Damariscotta, Maine/ Lincoln Academy) finished fourth overall in the Barton Invitational in his opening tournament of the spring season. He followed up on his first-round 72 with a 76 for a 36-hole score of 148.
