Ayres Named to Academic All-Northeast-10 Golf Team
WALTHAM, Mass. --- Bentley University rising senior Tommy Ayres (Bolton/Nashoba Reg. HS) has been named to the 2015 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference Men's Golf Team, which was released on Wednesday.
It was the second straight appearance on the team for Ayres, who was fifth on the NE-10 champion Falcons with a 78.9 stroke average. That was an improvement of 1.26 on his norm from his sophomore season.
Ayres tied for tenth at the Northeast-10 Championships, earning second-team All-Conference recognition. His best scores for the year were achieved in the Franklin Pierce Invitational when he finished with a 72-76-148.
Ayres, who has a grade point average just a shade under 3.6, majors in both economics-finance and liberal studies.
