WALTHAM, Mass. – Two of the premier guards in the Northeast-10 Conference, Bentley University senior Ryan Richmond (Toronto, Ont./Thomson Collegiate) and Southern New Hampshire's Daquaise Andrews, will be on display Wednesday night at the Dana Center when the Falcons host the Penmen.

Game time is 7:30 pm and a free webcast will be available on NE10 NOW and www.bentleyfalcons.tv for those who can't make it to the Dana.

Bentley, after surviving for a 66-65 win at Assumption Saturday, will enter the game with records of 17-6 overall and 10-6 NE10. The Falcons are third in the NE10's Northeast Division and 11-2 at home this season.

Southern New Hampshire, coached by former Bentley guard and assistant coach Jack Perri, is 11-10 overall and 7-9 conference after halting a four-game slide with a72-40 crushing of Stonehill College Saturday.

It'll be the second match-up between longtime Bentley head coach Jay Lawson and his former player, who was previously the head coach at Rhode Island College and Long Island. Lawson's team prevailed in the initial meeting, 89-83 back on Dec. 5.

Richmond and Andrews are two of the top scorers in the conference with Richmond at the top of the list with a 23.8 average and Andrews fourth at 20.9. In the first meeting this season, Richmond scored 28 and Andrews had 24, along with 11 assists.

Richmond, the NE10 Player of the Week for the third time, scored 33 and 31 points in last week's two wins and has moved to within 39 points of the 2,000 milestone. His career scoring norm of 19.2 is second in Bentley history (Ray Andersen, 20.1, 1968-71) and this year's average is better than the school record of 23.6 he set last season.

Junior forward Chris Hudson (Hodgson, Maine/Williston Northampton) and sophomore guard Colton Lawrence (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO HS) are next on the Bentley scoring list, each netting nearly 15a game. Both were quiet in the Assumption game, combining for 14.

Lawson's starting five also includes senior forward Zach Gilpin (Hampden, Maine/Hampden Academy) and sophomore guard Jordan Mello-Klein (Sharon/Thayer Academy). Gilpin averages 9.3 and Mello-Klein 8.7. Mello-Klein, who has a team-best 86 assists, had 12 points Saturday, his second most in the last ten games

Andrews, a third-team All-Northeast-10 selection last year, fills the stat sheet with 6.6 rebounds and more than five assists a game in addition to 20.9 points. Turnovers can be an issue with his 112 a conference-high.

 Forward Eamonn Joyce and six-foot-six Shaun Montague, both juniors, each have a .545 field goal percentage. Joyce's 16.1 scoring average is second on the team and Montague, the team's best rebounder (8.8), follows at 13.4.

Bentley is fourth in the NE10 in scoring and seventh in points allowed. Southern New Hampshire ranks sixth and tenth, respectively, in those two categories.

In the first meeting this season, Richmond, Hudson and Lawrence combined for 78 points and Bentley overcame a nine-point second half deficit. In addition to Richmond's 28, Hudson scored 26 and Lawrence had 24. For SNHU, all five starters scored in double figures.

Bentley will also be at home at Saturday when division-leading Saint Anselm visits the Dana Center for a 3:30 game.
