WALTHAM, Mass. – After averaging 102 points in a pair of non-conference wins, the Bentley University men's basketball team will launch its Northeast-10 Conference schedule Wednesday evening at Stonehill College. Game time at Merkert Gym is set for 7:30 pm and a webcast will be available at www.NE10NOW.tv.

Bentley reached the century mark twice over the weekend in its own tip-off classic, disposing of Goldey Beacom 104-88 and 2018 NCAA East Regional finalist Bloomfield 100-73. The team displayed impressive shooting numbers in the two games, hitting .581 overall, .510 from three with an average of 13 a game, and .875 at the foul stripe.

Senior guard Ryan Richmond (Toronto, Ont./Thomson Collegiate HS) averaged 21 points, 5.5 rebounds and seven assists to lead the Falcons in the two games. He moved from 20th to 17th on the program's all-time scoring list over the weekend and with 1,456 points, needs nine to crack the top 15.

Sophomore guard Colton Lawrence (Myerstown, Pa/ECHO HS) had an impressive opening weekend, averaging 18 points (more than four times his freshman year norm) and a team-best 9.5 rebounds. He shot 55 percent overall and made six of 11 from outside the arc.

Senior forward Zach Gilpin (Hampden, Maine/Hampden Academy) is coming off a 20-point effort against Bloomfield. Off the bench, sophomore forward Pete Blust (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale HS) has made seven of nine shots and freshman guard Brian Wright-Kinsey (Brooklyn, N.Y./Brooks School) scored 16 points in ten minutes without missing a shot.

Stonehill split its first two games with an 82-78 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas following an 87-61 season-opening win over the District of Columbia.

Four Skyhawks scored in doubles during the opening weekend with junior forward Daniel Largey topping the list at 18 points a game. He's spent a lot of time at the line, making 14 of 14, and is a major reason Stonehill has a .949 free throw percentage.

Senior forward Joel Berroa and junior guard Brandon Twitty both average 13 points and have combined to make 20 of 32 shots overall and 9 of 16 from three-point land.

In the two meetings last season, both teams won a close game on their home court. Richmond (29) and Gilpin (23) combined for 52 in an  89-86 win in Waltham, and in the rematch, Stonehill held on for a 74-70 victory despite 23 points from both Richmond and current junior Chris Hudson (Hodgdon, Maine/ Northampton-Williston School).

Bentley will be back in the Dana Center Saturday afternoon for a 1:00 encounter with Merrimack College.
