    Senior guard Ryan Richmond (Toronto, Ont./Thomson Collegiate) scored 23 points, including 20 in the second half and the 1,500th of his illustrious career, as Bentley University rallied from nine down to stay undefeated, 65-59 over Merrimack College in Northeast-10 Conference men’s basketball Saturday afternoon at the Dana Center.

    For the second straight year, Bentley University is ranked number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report, which was announced today. Bentley, with its highest ASR in the 13 years that the NCAA has been compiling the data, was alone at the top of the rankings, two points above the five institutions tied for second, after sharing the top position a year ago. This was the fifth straight year that Bentley has achieved an ASR of 97 or better and the eighth straight they’ve been above 90.

  • Falcons Opens Season by Hosting Strong Field in Bentley Tip-Off Classic

    As it has annually since 2010, the Bentley University men’s basketball team will launch its season by hosting its Tip-Off Classic. Play gets underway on Saturday with nationally-ranked Saint Anselm squaring off against Bloomfield at 5 pm and the host Falcons facing Goldey-Beacom in the 7 pm nightcap.

    The Northeast-10 Conference (NE10) recently announced that it will partner with Presto Sports and Stretch Internet Solutions to create and launch NE10 NOW, a Conference-wide digital streaming platform. The partnership will enable all 15 NE10 members to digitally stream HD game broadcasts to one platform provided by Stretch Internet and provide high-quality, consistent viewing experiences for the NE10’s fans across the country.
