Anderson, Scholten Receive Academic All-Northeast-10 Recognition

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University seniors Tess Anderson (Stow/Nashoba Reg. HS) and Ashley Scholten (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield HS) were recently named to the 2019 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference field hockey team.

Anderson, a second-team Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II second-team All-America, provided the Falcons with 11 goals, eight assists, 30 points and two game-winners during her final collegiate season. She was tied for 15th in Division II in points per game and was a repeat selection on the All-Northeast-10 first team.

Anderson played in 69 games during her career and finished with 33 goals, 14 assists, 80 points and six game-winners.

Anderson has achieved a 3.58 grade point average while majoring in information design and corporate communications. This is the second time she's been selected for Academic All-Northeast-10 honors.

Scholten, a back, saw action in 18 games as a senior and started six times. She scored on a penalty stroke against St. Thomas Aquinas and was credited with two defensive saves. During her career, she appeared in 49 games for the Falcons.

Scholten, who frequently sings the national anthem before Bentley athletic events, has achieved a sparkling 3.91 GPA as an information design and corporate communications major.

Bentley finished the season with a 9-10 record.
