WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University freshman Kayleigh Vogel (Greenland, N.H./Portsmouth HS) has been named both the Field Hockey Goalie and Rookie of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference following her outstanding performance last week.

In her first two career starts, Vogel posted a 0.50 goals against average and an .889 save percentage while helping Bentley to wins over Franklin Pierce University (3-0) and Assumption College (2-1). She had three saves in her first career shutout and five saves against the Hounds.

Vogel has been in a total of four contests for the Falcons during her first collegiate season and has a 1.00 goals against average in 210 minutes of action.

Bentley, 10-6, has a pair of regular season games remaining. The Falcons will host Saint Anselm Wednesday at 7 pm and will visit St. Michael's on Saturday.
