Rachel Crowley missed all of Bentley's 2017 field hockey season after tearing the ACL, MCL and meniscus in her left knee while doing sprints with her team during the previous spring season.

"I stepped a weird way, and it snapped," said Crowley, a former Notre Dame Academy star from Leicester.

Crowley had surgery May 23, 2017, did her rehabilitation and physical therapy over the summer, and was cleared to play sports six months later, in November, at the end of Bentley's season.

She was back with her team this spring, and in Monday's game against No. 5 West Chester, Crowley scored a second-half goal.
