Bio

2015 graduate of Ramsey High School … one of three players from New Jersey on this year’s team (Julie Earley, Mikayla Ullrich) … majoring in accountancy and liberal studies, with a concentration in ethics and social responsibility … in 17 games the last two seasons, posted a 5-9 record and a 2.20 goals against average … three varsity letters.

2017: Played and started nine games last season before an injury prematurely ended her season … recorded a 2.37 goals against average, a .712 save percentage and a 2-7 W-L record … 3-0 shutout with two saves against American International Sept. 30 … 13 saves against Adelphi Sept. 9.

2016: Saw action in eight games, playing a total of 336:16 … compiled a 1.87 goals against average, a .769 save percentage and a 3-3 W-L record … all three wins came in relief: Sept. 7 at Merrimack, Sept. 24 vs. Pace and Oct. 1 at St. Michael’s … made first career start Oct. 19 vs. Adelphi, playing all 70 minutes in a 2-1 loss … had a career-best eight assists against the Panthers.

2015: Did not see any game action as a freshman.

High School: 2015 graduate of Ramsey High School where she was the field hockey team captain and MVP as a senior … had 21 shutouts during her two years as a starter, along with an 88% save percentage and 242 saves … led Ramsey to county tournament championship in 2014 … Bergen Record Team of the Year in 2014 … as a senior, was selected as All-Bergen County first team and second-team All-Group II … played in 2014 Bergen County All-Star Game at Montclair State.

Personal: Age as of Sept. 1: 21 … daughter of Barbara and Phil Mones … has one brother, Steven (22), and one sister, Christiana (18) … received Scholastic “R” Award and an Architecture Award in 2013 … involved with Best Buddies and Habitat for Humanity … has also volunteered with the Boston Marathon and Cradles to Crayons.
