WALTHAM, Mass. – Senior forward Gina Lirange (Auburn/Auburn HS), the leading scorer for the Bentley University Falcons the last two seasons, has been named to the 2014 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II All-America second team. 

Lirange was also selected as a second-team Division II All-America by SynapseSports.com for the second consecutive season.

Lirange, who participated in the recent NFHCA Senior All-Star game in Louisville, Ky. finished her career with 10 goals and five assists for 25 points. Three of her goals were game-winners and she had a pair of hat tricks, Sept. 13 against American International and Nov. 8 against Southern Connecticut State.

A standout in the classroom as well as on the field, the two-year captain and first-team All-Northeast-10 honoree finished her career with 33 goals, 15 assists, 81 points and 11 game-winners.  She appeared in every game during her four years, with 71 of her 75 appearances as a starter.

Bentley finished the 2014 season with a 10-9 record.
