Alex Tonnies, a 2017 graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, is in his third year as an assistant football coach at Bentley University. He works with the Falcons’ wide receivers.

Tonnies, who twice caught a school-record 17 passes during his one season of football at Kutztown (2013), was an assistant coach, working with the wide receivers, at Allentown Central Catholic High School (Allentown, Pa.) during the 2016 season. He was also a student-assistant coach at Kutztown from November 2016-June 2017.

During the 2013 season, Tonnies caught 76 passes for 586 yards and three touchdowns.

A native of Nazareth, Pa., Tonnies received a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management.
