Danny Maynes, a 2015 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, is in his sixth year on the Bentley University football staff. He returned to his hometown in 2016 and currently serves as the Falcons’ Defensive Line Coach. Previously, he worked with the outside linebackers and special teams.

Maynes arrived at UMass as a walk-on and left as a two-year starter for the Minuteman. As a fifth-year senior in 2014, he received the Nason Award from the New England Football Writers as the New England senior who persevered against all odds to succeed in football.

Maynes’ career included 84 tackles, eight tackles for losses and a forced fumble in 27 career games.

Maynes, who resides in Waltham, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in both economics and political science.
