Lowrie Tabbed to Play in College Gridiron Showcase

WALTHAM, Mass. – Former Bentley University quarterback Mack Lowrie (Foxborough/Roxbury Latin School) has been tabbed to participate in the fourth annual College Gridiron Showcase, which will be held in Addison, Texas Jan. 6-10.

With its unique format – a showcase with a controlled scrimmage rather than a game reliant on playing time and play calling – no other premiere college football all-star event gives participants as many quality opportunities to display their talent.

The event, which includes players from each of the NCAA's four divisions, pits an All-Star group against a Select Group.

Lowrie, who had his final season cut short by injury, is one of three quarterbacks in the Select Group.

Lowrie, in six games this past fall, completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,310 yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions. His season featured five TD passes in a 40-21 win over then nationally-ranked LIU Post and four a couple weeks earlier against Saint Anselm.

One of the Falcons' captains, Lowrie came to Bentley in 2016 after previously attending Boston College and Rhode Island.
