Hill Invited to Pittsburgh Steelers Rookie Mini-Camp

WALTHAM, Mass. – Former Bentley University wide receiver Jeff Hill (Mansfield/Mansfield HS) has been invited to participate in this weekend's rookie mini-camp by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers' mini-camp will include over 50 players, including 21 first-year players, eight rookie draft picks, a dozen rookie undrafted free agents and 14 tryout players. It will begin on Friday and run through Sunday.

The six-foot-four, 215-pound Hill pulled in exactly 200 passes during his four years with the Falcons, good for 3,489 yards and 37 touchdowns.  Each of those numbers rank third in program history and were among the top six among all Division II players active during the 2014 season.

During the 2014 season, Hill led the Northeast-10 Conference in receiving yards (1,113), yards per game (101.2) and touchdown catches (12). He totaled 68 receptions in 11 games and had five 100-yard receiving games.

A three-time first-team All-Northeast-10 selection, Hill was twice chosen for the New England Football Writers Division II-III All-New England team and was named a second-team Division II All-America by Don Hansen's Football Gazette.
