Two former Bentley University standouts, football quarterback Marc Eddy ’05 (Southboro) and men’s basketball forward Nate Fritsch ’08 (Durham, N.C.), and the Falcons’ 2001 NCAA Division II national championship field hockey team are part of the Class of 2014 selections for the Northeast-10 Conference Hall of Fame.

Bentley University seniors Danny Guadagnoli (Framingham/Framingham HS) and Kent Kozar (Fairport, N.Y./McQuaid Jesuit HS) have been selected for the 2013 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference football team. It’s the second time that Guadagnoli has earned the honor and a first for Kozar.

Senior quarterback Danny Guadagnoli (Framingham/Framingham HS) broke the single game and season Bentley University records for passing yards and total offense while accounting for a total of six touchdowns as the Falcons used a school record 694 yards of offense to register a 56-41 home field victory over Saint Anselm College during Northeast-10 Championship Weekend Saturday afternoon.

Following a difficult trip to New Haven, the Bentley University Falcons will look to close out the season on a positive note when they host Saint Anselm College Saturday at noon as part of Northeast-10 Conference Championship Weekend. Kickoff for the Falcons’ seventh home game of 2013 is 12 noon. Bentley finished the regular season as the sixth seed and Saint Anselm was number nine.

The Bentley University Falcons will be the sixth seed while the three-time defending champion University of New Haven Chargers will be number three. And those two teams will square off this Saturday on New Haven’s famed blue turf, with kickoff now set for 12 noon after being changed from 1 pm earlier this week.
