Captain … senior guard who is majoring in marketing … is minoring in both management and information design and corporate communication … has been a starter since the opening game of his freshman year … strong run blocker with excellent pass protection ability … one of the most athletic guards in the conference … will push for first-team All-Northeast-10 honors in 2011 … three varsity letters.

2010:  Named second team All-Northeast-10 … started all nine games, eight at left guard … started at left tackle at Southern Connecticut Oct. 16.

2009: Started all 10 games at left guard.

2008: Named to the NE-10 All-Rookie team … started all 11 games at guard.

Personal: 2008 graduate of Lakeland Regional High School who earned two letters in football and four in track … team captain as a senior and helped lead his team to the 2007 state playoffs … named first team All-Northern Hills Conference and Suburban All-Area as a senior … selected second team All-Passaic County as a senior … participated in the 2008 Paul Robinson All-Star Classic … lettered in track as well as football … given name is Alex … age as of Sept. 1: 21 … son of Joanne Riker.
