WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University All-Conference outfielders Max Troiani (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Mendon HS) and Luke Figueira (Taunton/Taunton HS) have been voted to the 2019 Academic All-Northeast-10 baseball team. For Troiani, it's the second time he's been recognized with the honor.

Troiani, a rising senior who is currently playing in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Orleans Firebirds, was Bentley's leading hitter for the second straight year, batting .320 with nine home runs, 29 RBI, 50 runs scored and 99 total bases. A three-year starter, Troiani was selected for the All-Northeast-10 first team and received Google Cloud Academic All-District honors for the second time.

Troiani has also made his mark in the classroom, achieving a 3.74 grade point average as an economics-finance. He's made the President's List each of the last four semesters.

Figueira, a second-team All-Northeast-10 performer, was second on the team in home runs, total bases and slugging while handling duties in left for the Falcons. Also a rising senior, he connected at a .279 clip and slugged .506 with eight home runs and 28 RBI.

Also a three-year starter, Figueira has earned a 3.77 GPA while majoring in finance. He's made the President's List and the Dean's List both three times apiece.
