Troiani Earns Google Cloud Academic All-District Honors for 2nd Time

WALTHAM, Mass. – For the second straight year, Bentley University junior center fielder Max Troiani (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Mendon HS) has been voted to the Google Cloud Division II Academic All-District 1 baseball team.

Troiani, who was previously recognized as a first-team All-Northeast-10 performer, will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.

Troiani had a standout season for the Falcons, with his numbers including a conference-best 50 runs scored, nine home runs, 99 total bases and 17 stolen bases in as many attempts. He finished with a .320 batting average, a .566 slugging percentage and a .402 on base percentage.

Troiani also excelled in the outfield and in the classroom. He tracked down 119 balls in center, most by a Falcon since 2014, and has achieved a 3.74 grade point average as an economics-finance major.

Bentley won 12 of its last 14 regular season games and finished the year with a 21-21 record.
