Bio

Liz Maienza is in her ninth year as a member of the Bentley University athletic training staff.  Her responsibilities include working primarily with field hockey, women’s soccer, softball and men's and women's swimming teams.

Maienza graduated with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Lasell College in 2003, and did her clinical work at Bentley with the football team in the fall of 2002.  She went on to receive her MBA in Sport Management in May 2005 from Webber International University and was a graduate assistant at the Florida institution while working on her masters.

Maienza was an assistant athletic trainer at Molloy College from 2005-2008, and joined the Merrimack College Sports Medicine staff in October 2008. Her duties at Merrimack included serving as an adjunct professor in their Athletic Training Education program.  She has also been as an assistant athletic trainer for the Olympic Development Program for Region I women’s youth soccer.

A native of Wilbraham, Mass., Maienza currently resides in Hudson with her husband, Scott, and their children, Nathan and Hannah.
