Bio

Courtney Finn is in her eighth year on the Bentley athletic department staff. She serves as Bentley's Associate Athletic Director, Internal Operations and is the department's Senior Woman Administrator.

Finn was promoted to Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator in May 2021 after serving as assistant director for financial operations from 2017-21 and athletics operation assistant from 2014-17.

Finn had a standout career for the Bentley University women’s basketball team that culminated with the 2014 NCAA Division II national championship.

She oversees financial operations for the Athletics department, including the overall management of the budget, athletics financial aid, the Falcon Club and Athletics endowments.  She serves as the direct liaison to Admissions at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has oversight of compliance & academics while also being the liaison with career services & SAAC. She represents the University at the conference level as the Senior Women’s Administrator and strategizes ways to support and manage gender equity and Title IX.  

Finn, one of only two players in Bentley women’s basketball history with at least 1,500 points, 750 rebounds and 100 three-pointers, was a two-year captain for the Falcons. She earned Division II All-America honors from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association as a graduate student in 2014, as well as a second-straight first-team All-Northeast-10 selection.

As part of the national championship team, Finn averaged 15.6 points, a team-best 7.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

A Winthrop native who now resides in Waltham, Finn received her Bachelor of Science degree in management in 2013 and her MBA from Bentley in 2015.
